The body is shaped like a cylindrical “barrel,” tapering toward the top, with a stepped lower section.
Three openwork legs are attached to the body; two of them are stamped with the number 21 and the letters “ПР.”, while the third bears the number 13. The ash-pit has round cutouts. The handles consist of two openwork plates resembling intertwined branches, connected by wooden grips. The spigot is faceted and ends in a stylized dolphin head. The spigot key is decorated in the same style as the legs. The lid has two matching wooden knobs and a steam vent. The chimney cap is cast and features three shaped cutouts. The cap is missing. A chimney pipe with a wooden handle is included. The lid bears the stamp: «Наслѣдника Ив. Гр. Баташева вѣ Тулѣ» along with a heraldic emblem. The samovar was purchased from a private seller in Sacramento, CA in 20023.
