Vanykin Samovar Factory
Yegor Alexandrovich Vanykin (1842–1902) began his career as a samovar maker around 1865 and was officially recognized as a merchant in Tula by 1871. In 1882, Vanykin acquired the samovar factory of Nikolai Nikolaevich Malikov, a pivotal event in the development of his production. This expansion established Vanykin’s factory as a more prominent player, and his products — crafted from brass and tombac — gained wide recognition. After Yegor Alexandrovich’s death in the early 20th century, the business was continued by his heirs. Production persisted until the revolutionary events of 1917.
