The body is spherical. The base is round, with four curved legs ending in stylized hoof-shaped tips. The ash-pit cover is missing. The draft opening has decorative cutouts and is deformed due to metal burnout. The handles consist of two decorative metal plates connected by wooden grips. The spigot is faceted, with a relief rosette at the base. The tap key is shaped like a branch. The lid is smooth, with two wooden knobs, and has no steam vent. The crown has decorative cutouts. The chimney cap is missing. A chimney tube with a wooden handle is present and matches the samovar. The lid bears the stamp: “ПОСТ.Д.ЕГО ИМПР.ШАХА ПЕРСИДСК. ТОВАРИЩЕСТВО ТОРГОВОГО ДОМА Бр. ШЕМАРИНЫХЪ ВЪ ТУЛIЪ.” The samovar is nickel-plated, with the plating partially lost. Purchased through Craigslist in San Jose area in 2009 from a private seller.
