The Body is cylindrical with a characteristic stepped Neck in the upper section. The Base is square. The Draft opening has decorative cutouts. The handles are oval ring-shaped, with wooden grips, suspended on swivels. The Spigot has a curled tip and a Rosette shaped like a stylized heart at the base. The Tap key has a four-petal cutout. The Lid is smooth, with two handles that have wooden grips, and a steam Knob. The Crown has decorative cutouts around the entire diameter, and the chimney cap is missing. Both the Lid and the Body bear a stamp with medal images and the inscription: «ПОСТ.Д.ЕГО ИМПР.ШАХА ПЕРСИДСК. ТОВАРИЩЕСТВО ТОРГОВОГО ДОМА Бр. ШЕМАРИНЫХЪ ВЪ ТУЛIЪ». The samovar was purchased in the city of Pacifica, California, in 2009 from the great-grandson of Russian émigrés. Prior to acquisition, it had been converted into a table lamp with a lampshade and coated with lacquer.
