ГАВРИЛА ЕФИМОВЪ ВЪ ТУЛIЪ.

The body has smooth walls and widens toward the lower section. The draft opening has decorative cutouts and stands on a square base with four stepped round legs. The handles are shaped like stylized shells, with smooth rosettes at the base. The spigot is faceted, with a large relief rosette. The tap key is a grid type, a restored copy. The lid has two wooden knobs. The crown has three decorative cutouts. The chimney cap is missing. A brass grate with a central opening is present. A chimney tube with a wooden handle and a tray are included. The lid bears the stamp: “ГАВРИЛА ЕФИМОВЪ ВЪ ТУЛIЪ.” The samovar was purchased through a Craigslist listing from third-generation descendants of Belarusian Russian émigrés in 2011. It had been converted into a floor lamp, and the chimney tube has a cutout from the light switch installation.
